About Me
Shaila started at the Morgan Autism Center as an Aide in August 2001. She has enjoyed every minute of working here, which is the reason why she stayed and worked towards becoming the lead teacher in a classroom. Shaila enjoys singing, cooking and doing art. Being at MAC has allowed her to share her talents with the students and staff.

About Me
Flo started at MAC 30 years ago as a classroom aide and fell in love with the program and its family like feel. Since then, she has had the unique opportunity to hold many different positions including classroom teacher, adult program director, consultant for one of our school district partnerships, and even created and ran a therapeutic sibling’s group. Over the last few years, she has been developing and implementing a Garden Program and loves getting to know the students and staff from all over the school-seeing how gardening is not only about vocation but also a way to self-regulate, spend quality time outdoors, to open doors to better eating and much more. She is very passionate (a bit crazy) about composting and recycling/upcycling, both at work and at home!

About Me
Tyler is the Adaptive PE Coordinator (APE) at Morgan Autism Center. He has been working at MAC for roughly 20 years, but 14 of those he has ran the adaptive physical education program. He received his bachelor’s degree in child and Family Development at San Diego State University and his Moderate/Severe Special Education Teaching Credential at SJSU. Tyler has worked with individuals with special needs for 25 years. He loves working with MAC’s students/clients and their families because he enjoys adding value to their daily lives.
